Alexis is the the co-founder and executive director of Hellas Direct. He has 12 years of experience in financial services (Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse First Boston, Boston Consulting Group. He is a  Fulbright and British Chevening Scholar and Robert & Diane Levy fellow. He holds BA (Hons) and MA (Cantab) in Economics from the University of Cambridge and also an MBA from the Wharton School.

Thanos Chronopoulos serves as Chief Commercial Officer of MTN Cyprus since 2015 and has more than 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and marketing strategy. Vasilis Papadopoulos
Vassilis Papadopoulos is currently the Innovation and New Business Development manager of MTN Cyprus. He has worked both as an Engineer and as a Marketeer in various positions always in the Telecoms industry. His experience varies across the spectrum of the industry, from delivering innovative services, to new business model framing, to commercializing core telecoms service such as Mobile data/xDSL/voice products, even to the engineering part of services. He has graduated from National Technical University of Athens with a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering. He is also an MBA graduate from Warwick Business School.

Emilios is the co-founder and executive director of Hellas Direct.
He has 18 years of experience in financial services (Barclays Capital, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey&Co). He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) in the United Kingdom. He holds a BSc in Computer Science, MSc in Actuarial Science and a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.
Cosmas Adam
Cosmas Adam
Cosmas Adam studied Physics and completed two master degrees on Electronics and Telecommunications, as well as on Management of Information Systems. He started his career at the biggest telecommunications provider in Greece, Cosmote, where he worked for 9 years in total, six of which in the company’s subsidiary in FYROM. He started as an Operations Director and later got promoted to Director of Technology. He is part of the MTN Cyprus team since 2009 and is now in the position of Chief Technology Information Officer.
 
 
 
Marios Dikaiakos
Marios Dikeakos
Marios D. Dikaiakos is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus. Since 2010 he serves as Chairman of the Computer Science Department. He is also the Founding Director of the Laboratory for Internet Computing. Dikaiakos received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University (1994), an M.A. degree from Princeton (1991) and a Dipl.-Ing. degree from the National Technical University of Athens (summa cum laude, 1988). He was a Research Associate at the University of Washington in Seattle (1994-1995) and has held short-term visiting positions at the Paris Research Lab of Digital Equipment Corporation, the University of Crete and Rutgers University.

He has been responsible for the end-to-end commercial business functions for one of the world’s largest Service Delivery Platform implementations across a multi-national operator.  Mr. Barath has in-depth experience in vendor engagement, strategic alliances and partnerships, full spectrum of Mobile Value Added Services, business strategy, mobile marketing and business planning.
Demetris Zeinalipour
Demetris Zeinalipour
Demetris Zeinalipour is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus, where he is directing the Data Management Systems Laboratory (DMSL). He holds a Ph.D. (2005) and M.Sc. (2003) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California - Riverside, USA and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus (2000). During 2004, he was a visiting researcher at the Network Intelligence Lab of Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, USA.  His research focuses on data management in systems and networks, particularly on the development of search and retrieval techniques for big data in parallel and distributed architectures, spatio-temporal and mobility data, network and web 2.0 data, geographic indoor data, crowd/social data as well as data privacy management.
